About the course:

The primary aim of this course is to enhance the quality of European Solidarity Corps volunteering projects by fostering the professional and personal development of coordinators, establishing long-term partnerships, sharing best practices, and exchanging experiences.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet, learn, share, and inspire each other in all aspects of European Solidarity Corps volunteering projects. Simultaneously, they will have a unique chance to build, develop, and expand their partnerships with representatives from 21 countries in the EU and partner regions.

Main content elements

  • ESC quality related themes: aims; coordination; communication; intercultural dimension; differences in backgrounds, mentalities and practical aspects.
  • Excursions to accredited ESC projects in Czechia.
  • Learning and service in ESC projects.
  • Long-term volunteering strategy and impact.
  • Roles, needs and competencies of ESC actors.
  • Personal reflection and feedback space.
  • Networking and partnership building among ESC coordinators from EU and Partner countries.
  • Intercultural experience within the group.
